1940's REXEL COMET STAPLERS 'BRITAIN'S BEST STAPLER' IN CHROME & STEEL |
||||
1940's top quality staplers made by Rexel, called 'THE COMET' and reputed to be 'BRITAIN'S BEST STAPLER' the sleek lines of the chassis nod towards early automotive design. After 70+ years the chrome is almost flawless, although the black paintwork shows varying degrees of wear. We have three available, all are in perfect working order. Engraved with the COMET logo on the side, in a strong ART DECO font, they also feature a target shaped button with an engraved arrow to one side. When the target button is pressed, as directed by the arrow the staple chamber above is released for loading with No.56 Rexel staples ( still readily available). We also have slightly later 1950's models of the Comet available here.
