Vintage China Number Plaques.

White raised ovals with black numerals.

A charming set of glazed white china number plaques, the oval shapes have a hand formed look with slight variations in size and thickness. The black numerals appear to have been hand painted over the glaze.

We are unsure of age, possibly antique or hand made reproductions. Either way they would look the part on a Victorian or Edwardian house door or for numbering cupboards, drawers etc.

Each oval has two slightly recessed holes for screwing to a door or gate. They all show signs of previous use with slight crazing to the glaze, a couple have small chips or imperfections to the edges.
