Original 1965 Emile And The Detectives

(Walt Disney version) Film Poster

Although a little too young to remember this film, we find the black & blue graphics against the acid yellow utterly compelling and so "of their era". .

There has recently been renewed interest in the classic Erich Kastner novel that this film was based upon, if interested follow the link below to a recent piece in The Guardian by Michael Rosen explaining the lasting impression the book made on him as a child (and the continuing influence it has had on childrens writers of his, and subsequent generations).

www.guardian.co.uk/culture/2013/feb/27/brighton-festival-2013-michael-rosen

Copyrighted by Walt Disney in 1965 for a cinema foyer display. it looks to be a typical British quad 30"X 40" (screen?)printed on relatively thin matt paper which has been stored folded. There is some crumpling to the edges and wear along the fold lines, but it makes a striking display.
