A later model Pluslite, without the intertwined 'HH' to the supporting bracket. This lamp postdates 1956, the year Hadrill Horstmann was acquired by automotive manufacturers 'Simms', who then launched the 'Simplus' brand of electrical goods *.
This lamp features the original silver factory finish which is in pretty good shape apart from a couple of scrapes and chips to the arms and base. The lamp is perfectly counterbalanced by the heavy roller which anchors it in a variety of positions.
The angle of the shade can be adjusted via the pivoting neck joint whilst the powerful magnifying lens pivots into position from its storage compartment on the top of the shade, ideal as a task lamp for close work.
This lamp is currently wired with grey rubberised flex which can be replaced with a choice of cloth covered vintage style flex before P.A.T testing if preferred.
(We have an older black model with wrinkle paint finish also in stock)
