1970's Vintage Swivel Chairs.

Splayed alloy base, perspex back.

This is the second set of these 'Grafton' swivel dining chairs we have had in stock over the last few years. They originate from the U.S, with a design that sits just the right side of kitsch.

The cast aluminium/alloy splayed bases with swivel mechanisms make these a good desk chair, if you are searching for something a little different. Unusual pierced tortoiseshell perspex backs (more comfortable than they might look) give the chairs an airy lightness, whilst the chocolate velvet upholstery is in very good order.

We have left the alloy bases as found, the finish has dulled to gunmetal but could be polished to a mirror shine if preferred. The well stuffed upholstery is in excellent springy condition but could also be simply recovered.
