Narrow arm version.

A rare narrow armed version of EDL's post war era machinist's lamps. Originally designed to be mounted to metal worker's lathes they make excellent task lighting in all kinds of contemporary settings. Solid, sturdy & dependable; it's already older than you and it will still last you a lifetime.

This example has an elegant bell shaped enamelled shade (green outside, white inside) instead of the more usual flared shaped shade (see this example here...)

The base is the classic EDL design; effectively a cube sliced across the diagonal so that the screw mounting holes can be rotated 180 degrees & offered up to either a horizontal surface or a vertical one. This one has no on/off switch in the mounting base so we will fit a new, (dark metal),bayonet-fit, switched bulb holder. As with all our lamps it will get new, 3-core, twisted braided cable giving 21st century performance but with a mid C20th look.

It can be wired either with a short tail for an electrician to wire into your wall supply or with a couple of metres of flex with a domestic mains plug on the end (and a valid PAT test).
