Vintage 1940/50's REXEL COMET streamlined staplers.

Steel with polished chrome trim.

In our continuing quest to find the most visually appealing everyday items the REXEL COMET has to win in the staplers category. There are wonderful older, functional looking Velos staplers but it is all but impossible to obtain imperial sized supplies of staples, rendering them obsolete.

Happy to hold our hands up to being stationary nerds, we can't help ourselves acquiring these streamlined COMET beauties. Designed in the late 1940's but redolent of the 1950's they sum up the curvaceous style of the era made in pressed steel with chrome or brass trim. REXEL are still going strong so staples which fit them are readily available.

These are staplers that you won't want to leave malingering in a drawer, bring a touch of Mad Men to your desk.
