A really good sized, robustly engineered floor lamp converted for domestic use from a PIFCO medical 'infra red radiant heat' lamp.We have carefully taken this apart, cleaning and polishing every nut and bolt including those in the original robust porcelain lamp/bulb holder (which accepts standard ES energy saving bulbs).

The 'jelly mold' shaped shade is made from spun aluminium, the inside has been polished to a mirror finish whilst the original cream paint and makers black and red transfer on the exterior have been preserved.

The cast iron stand with its sturdy circular base has been overpainted several times and now has an attractive 'chippy' patina. A chromed riser with threaded collar joint allows the height to be adjusted by way of a large knurled knob. Above this is a lever operated pivot joint can be used in conjunction with the adjustment knob on the upper stem for angling the shade more precisely.

We have re-wired this lamp with four metres of cloth covered black flex and a vintage style black plug, an 'inline switch' can be added if required. This lamp will be PAT tested at the time of purchase which is valid for a 12 month period.
