Mid Century cast alloy shop sign letter.
Hot orange and blue paintwork.
A fabulous set of medium sized cast alloy shop sign letters, the font would suggest they date from the 1950's/60's although the funky orange enamel paint is very 1970's.
Each letter is painted a matt pale blue with a zingy orange enamel infil (painted not vitreous). There are just two serifed capital letters K, L all the others are lower case, all are italic.
The light makes the orange appear darker in some of the images, all letters are exactly the same colour. The finish is in pretty good condition but with obvious signs of wear and tear particularly around the edges.
Most letters have their two part fixing lugs intact, these can be used to re-mount them on a board or wall, but can also be removed completely if freestanding..
