A lovely large run of antique cast iron hooks hailing from a local west country school mounted on their original oval section rail ( why they wished to replace them is a mystery to us!). Their simple shape makes them ideal for use as wall or beam mounted kitchen racks as well as coat racks. Each hook is cast in two parts which 'lock' in place over the mounting rail.

These hooks are a really good size and a particularly elegant organic shape. Hand stripped of many layers of primary coloured gloss paint and gently burnished their true beauty has been revealed. Each hook marked with the inscription PATENT 649 which we have yet to investigate.

We have a number of lengths of the original mounting rail which we will cut into bespoke lengths and supply with newly fabricated wall mounting brackets. Simply specify the number of hooks you require and we can recommend the length of rail, we suggest leaving at least 15-20cm between hooks.
