Holophane Prismatic Alloy Bulkhead Lights.

Stunning quality bulkhead lights with undeniably Art Deco geometric styling, these lamps were a collaboration between George Davidson & Co and the Holophane company.

The fittings consist of solid cast alloy casings which have been mirror polished. The casing has a hinged front containing the pristine faceted prismatic 'Holophane' branded glass lenses.

Inside the original porcelain lamp holders have been carefully dismantled and re-furbished. An additional circular glass reflector aids the diffusion and reflection of the light produced.

These fittings are still in production today although the internal lampholder, bracket and reflector designs have been updated to function with L.E.D's and are used predominantly as tunnel lights for the London Underground system.
