Vintage Heyes Explosion Proof FLP Bulkheads

Designed for extreme or hazardous environments.

A small run of five extremely heavy duty lamps, of impressive proportions. Manufactured by Heyes of Wigan circa 1960's/70's these lamps were designed to safely illuminate hazardous or extreme environments, predominantly intended for the mining and petrochemical industries.

We acquired these as new old stock, and have lightly polished their alloy fittings. The bulb enclosures have extremely thick pyrex type glass, they come complete with steel mounting bars allowing for surface fixing, they also have flanges with holes which will allow them to be hung as pendants if preferred. Due to their great weight we suggest care should be taken if you intend to ceiling or wall mount these lamps, they look equally impressive floor or bench mounted

Each lamp has its original porcelain bulb holder (standard BC bulb) and has been re-wired with a good length of heavy duty black rubberised cable and comes fitted with a plug and fully PAT tested.

£245.00 each
