1930/40's 'PACKAWAY' GRAVITY LADDER

PORTABLE, ALL STEEL, STOVE ENAMELLED

1930/40's concerntina ladder from 'GRAVITY LADDERS LTD.'. Believed to be one of their 'PACKAWAY' models this one extends to just over 3.5 metres (or 11'3"in old money) the largest size they made. All steel constuction with black, stove enamelled finish, the lattice shape forms 13 steps.

The ingenious design features a rubber foot bar and side handles will allow the ladder to be pulled outwards until it reaches maximum extension, two sets of swing latches then anchor it in place. The top of the ladder is shaped to allow it to hook over a bar, ideal for accessing mezzanines, bookshelves, wine racks etc.
