EDWARDIAN STAIRCASE WALL LAMPS CLASSICAL DETAILING, SOLID POLISHED BRASS COMPONENTS |
||||
A group of four wall mounted lamps salvaged from an Edwardian villa where they illuminated the staircase .The set, comprising of two doubles and two singles, are made from solid brass numbered components which screw together. Each has been carefully dismantled, cleaned and stripped of grime and paint. They have been lightly polished but left un-lacquered allowing the brass to patinate and mellow over time. It is possible that these were originally gas lamps, now re-wired with a cable tail to be fitted by an electrician, the brass lamp holders are earthed & accept standard bayonet bulbs (shade rings present allowing use of a shade if preferred).The simple classical style allows for fitting in either orientation, the length of the column fitting makes these lamps ideal for displaying favourite items of clothing. £165.00 double arm (2 available) £115.00 single arm (2 available) or £500.00 set of four
