DUGDILLS MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS TRUCK LAMP

WALL MOUNTED WITH INTEGRAL CRABTREE SWITCH

We have restored a number of these wall mounted military Dugdills lamps over the last ten years; they were originally used as part of the kit supplied in the K9 communications trucks used by the Royal Signal Corps from WW2 until the cold war era.

Ideal as bedside reading lamps, they can also freestand as desk lights with the switch box used as a base if required. This one has been wired up with black twisted flex, ready for wall mounting and mains connection by an electrician. Alternatively we can supply with a length of trailing flex and black vintage style plug if preferred.

Cast iron switch box, brass & ceramic crabtree brand switch, polished steel arms with adjustable wing-nuts, polished alloy shade. Fitted with a new SBC earthed brass lampholder & supplied with a new halogen bulb.
