A valet display stand from the Edwardian era constructed of mixed metals with adjustable hanging rails for garment display. Weighty, yet elegant four footed base in burnished cast ferrous metal with a copper tone is topped with a brass joint supporting a copperised brass central column. A pair of brass hanging rails with bronze finials, one of which is adjustable in height and angle via a thumb screw, are mounted on the central column allowing for multiple hanging options. The stand can be unscrewed from the base and top (there is a threaded component running the full height of the column) and dismantled into four components for transporting. SOLD
