MID CENTURY BANK CALENDAR WALL CLOCK TEAK & MELAMINE WITH BRONZE FITTINGS |
||||
Large bespoke made mid-century calendar clock salvaged from an ex bank, complete with cabinet makers notes/measurements visible on the inner teak frame. Two conical bronze knobs on the side allow a pair of drawers to slide out smoothly from the teak case. Each drawer slide has a brass framed front, with bronze pull-handles, and contains a set of heavy, double sided black perspex plaques allowing the date and month to be changed manually. The clock face is white melamine with a pinkish brown 'texture' print. The clock hands and numer indices are simple black metal. A quartz battery driven movement has been fitted which keeps good time. There are a pair of brass hanging brackets at the top of the frame for wall mounting.
