Made by ASCO Ltd (theAutomatic Scale Company) of Broadheath, Manchester, for commercial use but these would grace any cafe, store or domestic kitchen.

Designed to weigh up to 1 pound accurately, it has counterbalanced pans allowing heavier weights to be equally accurately measured by placing additional, known, weights on the silver pan. The scale is double sided displaying a simple weight on one side with further divisions on the other, including 1/4 ounce divisions and Half New Penny Divisions (of limited use nowadays but charming nonetheless).

A beautiful working scale; we've been using a similar one in our own kitchen for years & expect that it will probably last the rest of our cooking lives. This is very heavy so if you like the look of it then get in touch to talk about a cost effective delivery method.
