Vintage Air Ministry mechanic's inspection lamp.
Polished alloy, brass & steel.
A rugged yet light inspection lamp which would have been used by Air Ministry mechanics to illuminate routine maintenance jobs. The Air Ministry emblem with crown motif is impressed on the top surface of the alloy lamp enclosure.
A protective, heavy guage wirework cage is held in place with four brass wing nuts, this also serves as a flat surface which can be placed on a table etc. Alternatively the unit can be hand held or hung from the integral hook.
All in all a highly practical yet attractive portable lamp, this is fully wired with black cloth covered flex & will be sent with a PAT test label (valid for 12 months).
