Anglepoise 1209 Wall Mounted Lamps.

A couple of years ago we found, restored and sold three of these wonderful long reach Anglepoise's, it is great to have another pair in stock.

These lamps differ from the 1227 domestic model, having been designed for the commercial environment of the drafting office or map room. This version has the long reach 18" arm sections, each of which is square section aluminium (some models have flat steel lower arm sections, some brass).

The cast iron wall mounting brackets are an attractive pierced triangular design, allowing smooth rotation. The fork,elbow and neck joints are polished brass, whilst a copper joint securely clamps the shade holder.

We like to restore the original bakelite Crabtree lamp holders with integral 'on/off' switches whenever possible, therefore these lamps are earthed at the base fork.

Supplied with 2 metres of black cloth covered vintage style flex and vintage style black plug fully P.A.T tested.
