Mid Century pair of elegant copper plated wall lamps.
.................................................................................
An elegantly understated pair of 1940's/50's copper plated wall lamps. Cylindrical lamp holders are held aloft on slim rectangular section 'L shaped arms fixed to a curved backplate.
These have just the right amount of wear to the copper plate with a glimpse of brass base metal here and there. Ivory coloured celluloid discs top the candle shaped lamp holders which accept standard bayonet bulbs. Just visible on the lamp holders you can make out'K---S made in England'.
The lamp holders are threaded to accept a shade ring but these were found without shades, and in our opinion look fine as they are (particularly if used in conjunctions with a filament type bulb).
These lamps will require fitting by an electrician, they have been re-wired with a short tail of flex and will be tested prior to dispatch.
